Amazon and Walmart Price Tracking

Hard to notice but Amazon and Office Depot were about the same pricing for days until Walmart breached that price level and as you can see Amazon started pegging its price with Walmart’s.

We are price monitoring school products and seeing Amazon pegging its price to Walmart. It has always been interesting doing this for our customers, but now price tracking competitor prices for our own purposes has added a new angle at how we are viewing the challenge. This also has us cooking up a new internal project to start monitoring these price movements at a more substantial level.
